What I Loved About 2012

I really loved 2012. I had such huge and wonderful blessings this year. I think, during the new year,  we need to see the real positives and not what we need to immediately change. It's always good to pick up good habits- like eating better, working out more, and making time for our families-but it's also good to remember the good things that happened the year before.

1. 2012 was the year was that I married my husband, John. The ceremony was small, simple, and beautiful. All that mattered in the end was that we were married.

2. I am thrilled that I was able to become certified as a school librarian. It took a long time and a lot of work, but in the end I'm thrilled to know that the getting certified part is over.

3. My brother was able to complete his own masters degree and find a career in his field. Quite a feat!

4. We gained a new, fuzzy member in our family. My mother-in-law found a tiny orange kitten in her yard one day. We eventually took him home as company for our gray cat, Big Kitty. Our new Little Kitty has so much personality we end up laughing constantly at his antics, and getting after him constantly for jumping on our table or counters.
